Paulette C. Bussey

Paulette C. Bussey is married to Malcolm S. Bussey and was born and raised in Jennings, Louisiana. She has five children ranging from the ages of ten to twenty-nine years. She is the youngest of three children, and is still proud to be referred to as the baby of the family.

Paulette was educated at Our Lady Immaculate School in Jennings through the eighth grade, and then attended public high school in Jennings, where she graduated in 1980. Shortly after her graduation, she relocated with her parents to Lafayette, where she attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, formerly known as USL. She studied Sociology and Psychology with a minor interest in Business Administration. She worked in the legal industry for twenty years, before retiring in 2008 to concentrate more fully on her family and her activism for disability rights. She has been employed by Our Lady Queen of Angels Church since 2010 as the Bookkeeper/Benefits Coordinator, and lends her talents to the CCD Office, Census recordkeeping, graphics for special events, and much more.
